"It is the mind that makes the body."

Love and

leave this world a better place!

Straight and Narrow!

This is for Ugandan gay-rights activist David Kato who was bludgeoned to death in his home in Kampala. This is also for every 'social misfit' who is hated for being different.

Keep Walking!

This is one the most powerful gay rights campaign/ imagery I’ve ever seen. I thought I would link it with the story of David Kato (and many other Ugandans living in crippling fear) it is heartbreaking and has made me both angry and incredibly sad.

People must learn to Live and Let Live

Explore. Dream. Discover.

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”
"Too many young folk have addiction to superficial things and not enough conviction for substantial things like Justice, Truth and Love" - Cornel West

The Art of Living.

"A person who is master in the art of living makes little distinction between

their work and their play,
their labor and their leisure,
their mind and their body,
their education and their recreation,
their love and their religion.

They hardly know which is which and simply pursue their vision of excellence and grace, whatever they do, leaving others to decide whether they are working or playing. To them, they are always doing both."

Here's to...

Life is Art.

"I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of any thing than of a book!—When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library.

The Power of Love

I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become a reality... I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word.

Feminism

"I myself have never been able to find out precisely what feminism is:
I only know that people call me a feminist whenever I express sentiments that differentiate me from a door mat or a prostitute"
